RESIDENTS WHO USE AOL
I NEED YOUR HELP IF YOU WISH TO CONTINUE RECEIVING EMAILS

AOL is driving me crazy! You might think you are receiving my emails but if you ask the non-AOL residents about some of my previous emails, you probably are not getting all of them. I put 15 email addresses in each AOL mailbox. I send out no more than 99 total emails to AOL residents within 24 hours. That's their rules. Yet I am still being blocked and the Postmaster from AOL is not helping at all.

Out of the total 400 emails that I send out 130 are from AOL. So with only 99 being allowed (but still being blocked), I would have to send out AOL emails in 2 separate days.

So in order to make sure you receive this email I am going to send it out over a period of maybe 3-5 days. My emails will be posted on my blog, which is still in the works but put this link in your favorites
http://regencyemailer2.blogspot.com/
and periodically go there to see if you missed any of my emails.

I am not sure if it would help but if you are an AOL customer, please send the following message to the AOL POSTMASTER:
THE EMAIL ADDRESS IS:

POSTMASTER@AOL.COM

THE MESSAGE SHOULD READ:

"PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK OR FILTER ANY EMAILS COMING FROM

RPOST@MONMOUTH.COM (IP ADDRESS 72.76.176.113)

I HAVE GIVEN AUTHORIZATION FOR THIS PERSON TO SEND ME EMAILS. THESE EMAILS PROVIDE US WITH INFORMATION WE REQUIRE IN ORDER TO KEEP US INFORMED ABOUT OUR LIFESTYLE IN AN ADULT COMMUNITY.

IF I INADVERTENTLY PLACED ONE OF THESE EMAILS IN MY SPAM BOX, PLEASE DISREGARD, AS THESE EMAILS ARE NOT SPAM"

THANK YOU

JUST COPY AND PASTE THE ABOVE INTO AN EMAIL TO THE POSTMASTER@AOL.COM. HOPEFULLY THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING POSITIVE.

HOPEFULLY WHEN WE HAVE OUR CHANGEOVER FROM AB I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT NOBODY USE AOL. I HAVE DONE MUCH READING ON AOL AND IT'S PRACTICES. ONE THING I FOUND OUT WAS THAT IN A PREVIOUS VERSION, AOL WAS ABLE TO LOOK AT EVERYTHING ON YOUR COMPUTER. THEY EVEN DO IT NOW BY CHECKING YOUR SPAM BOX AND IF MY EMAILS ARE IN IT, THEY WILL BLOCK THEM. SO AGAIN, DON'T PUT ANYTHING IN YOUR SPAM BOXES. JUST DELETE IT IF YOU DON'T WANT SOME EMAIL.

AOL'S FILTERING SYSTEM IS NUMBER 1. DON'T THINK THAT THIS IS GOOD. IF SOMEONE SENDS YOU A RECIPE FOR CHICKEN BREASTS YOU MIGHT NOT RECEIVE IT. THEY ARE A COMPANY THAT FILTERS MORE LEGITIMATE EMAILS THAN ANY OTHER COMPANY.

AS A PERSON WHO RECEIVES ABOUT 400 EMAILS A DAY, I HAD TO HAVE MONMOUTH.COM, MY ISP, REMOVE ALL FILTERS BECAUSE I WASN'T RECEIVING MANY EMAILS FROM EBAY CUSTOMERS. IF I HAD AOL, THE NUMBER WOULD HAVE TRIPLED BECAUSE OF THEIR STRONG FILTERING SYSTEM.

YOU WOULD SAY, WELL I DON'T THINK I AM HAVING A PROBLEM SINCE YOU ARE RECEIVING EMAILS. YOU WILL NEVER KNOW IF YOU DID OR DIDN'T UNLESS SOMEONE SAID TO YOU, DID YOU READ MY EMAIL (BUT YOU NEVER RECEIVED IT).

I WAS GOING TO OPEN UP SOME EMAIL ACCOUNTS TO SEND OUT EMAILS TO AOL RESIDENTS BUT THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE SOLVED INSTEAD OF CIRCUMVENTED. TO ME, EMAIL IS LIKE MAIL AND IF I TOOK A PIECE OF MAIL OUT OF YOUR MAILBOX I WOULD BE THROWN IN JAIL. HOWEVER, ALL OF THESE AOL TYPE COMPANIES BECAUSE OF THE SPAM PROBLEMS HAVE BASICALLY SAID, WE WILL TAKE YOUR EMAIL, WHETHER LEGITIMATE OR NOT, AND DELETE IT IF WE WANT TOO.

I SOUND LIKE ONE OF THOSE CIVIL LIBERTIES TYPE PERSONS BUT FRANKLY IT ISN'T RIGHT WHAT AOL AND COMPANIES LIKE AOL ARE DOING. IMAGINE A BREAST SURGEON WRITING HIS COLLEAGUES ON NEW ADVANCES IN BREAST SURGERY. IF HE SENT IT OUT TO 500 SURGEONS HE WOULD BE BANNED FOR LIFE BY AOL. I GUESS AS A PHARMACIST JUST PUTTING THE WORD VIAGRA IN AN EMAIL TO PATIENTS OR MEMBERS OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION WOULD AUTOMATICALLY VIOLATE SOME RULES OF AOL.

I THINK I'D BETTER PRE-WARN AOL, WHEN THEY MESS WITH THE EMAILER OF REGENCY, THEY ARE MESSING WITH THE BEST! I WILL KEEP YOU ABREAST OF THE SITUATION IN MY FIGHT AGAINST RIGHT AND WRONG. THAT'S FOUR BLUE WORDS IN ONE EMAIL!!!! I'VE REACHED A NEW PLATEAU IN EMAILING.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LAURA & MARTIN METZ

LAURA & MARTIN METZ, 22 WINNIE PALMER COURT, ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THE ARRIVAL OF THEIR NEW GRANDDAUGHTER...ABIGAIL KATE LEMBERGER ON NOVEMBER 3, 2006. SHE WEIGHED 7 LBS, WAS 18 1/2 INCHES LONG, AND IS THE SECOND CHILD FOR DR STEVEN AND ELISA LEMBERGER OF HOWELL, N.J. THIS IS THE SIXTH GRANDCHILD FOR LAURA AND MARTIN, THE BEST PART IS THAT THEY ALL LIVE WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF REGENCY.

CHINA TRAVELLERS HAVE ARRIVED BACK TO REGENCY

The first thing Stu Finger said to me was, "No more Chinese Buffet's for at least 4 months". They all seemed to enjoy themselves and according to Larry Ehrlich, he couldn't find one bagel anywhere in China. So he put some lox and Cream Cheese on an eggroll and pretended it was a bagel.

From the pictures Ted Shuster sent me which I have uploaded on my new picture website (no more passwords): http://picasaweb.google.com/REGENYEMAILER
it looks like the Regency travellers spent many hours sleeping. Actually the women looked like they were having a BLAST. It was the men who were fast asleep. What else is knew! Anyway, we are all happy you enjoyed yourselves and are back to the community in good health.

WOMEN'S CLUB RACE FOR THE CURE

On October 29, 2006, twenty-seven women and three men from Regency braved the cold, wind, and mud to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I am proud to say that we raised $4,127 to date.
We can continue to send in donations until November 30, 2006. If you wish to make a donation, please bring it to me at 7 Doral Drive and I will forward it to the organization.
If you care to donate directly, mail you check to:
Susan G. Komen Foundation
2 Princess Road
Suite D
Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
Kindly put our team number 550 on your check.
We hope that next year our numbers will at least double in participation in the race and in donations. Let's work together to eradicate this dreadful illness.

Thank you.
Sylvia Fleischer

A WINTERIZING REMINDER

It's that time of year again when I remind everyone to shut off your outdoor water. Remember, close the valve in your home first and then open the water bibs on the outside of your home.

At the beginning of the year you should change all the batteries in your smoke and fire alarms. I also change the battery in my garage door keypad. In the summer if it goes bad so I get a little suntan but in the winter, BRRRRR!

New homeowners, don't panic when you click on your remote for your fireplace and it doesn't work. Remember their are 2 sets of batteries, one in the remote and the other in the fireplace itself.

Fire Election Absentee Ballot Reminder

Please remember the address you want the Fire Election Absentee Ballot sent to you (the second address on the Request for Absentee Ballot) is the address you will be at in the first week of February 2007. Requests for Absentee Ballots with instructions for completion are available at the Clubhouse Concierge

PICTURE TAKEN IN CHINA

OUR REGENCY RESIDENTS WERE SMART IN, "SPEAK NO EVIL, SAY NO EVIL AND HEAR NO EVIL" when they were in China. This is especially true of the NON-EVIL DO'ERS SEEN BELOW.
