GRETA AND I WOULD LIKE TO WISH EVERYONE, ALONG WITH YOUR RESPECTIVE FAMILIES, ALL THE BEST IN GOOD HEALTH AND HAPPINESS FOR THE NEW YEAR.

WHILE YOU'RE LISTENING TO THE TRADITIONAL NEW YEAR'S EVE SONG (KENNY G), HERE ARE JUST SOME OF THE MANY FACES OF REGENCY THAT HAVE MADE REGENCY THE BEST ADULT COMMUNITY IN THE WORLD.

A MESSAGE FROM THE CCMT COMMITTEE

CHANGING THE LIGHT BULB IN THE SHOWER

I guess you thought that the Emailer only knows how to email. Wrong! A resident asked if I knew how to change the light bulb in the shower and even though I haven't changed that bulb in 6 years, I gave him the answer. The answer wasn't to put Greta on the ladder and once she holds on to the bulb, just turn the ladder counterclockwise to remove the bulb and then clockwise to put the new bulb in.

This fixture requires you to pull down on the rim, so here is the response from the resident:

Pulling down hard from both sides of the plate did the trick. I guess the moisture must cause it to stick to the recessed can. Also, once it is down you must unscrew a set screw then turn the white baffle to the left to remove it. The bulb is a 50 watt halogen sealed flood lamp

SO FAR NO PROBLEMS WITH READING EMAILS FROM MY BLOG

The last email I sent was done by just linking the email to my BLOG. It seems that it worked and those of you who had problems when emails were sent directly to you, this new way eliminates the problem.

There are some advantages of doing it this way. First off, just copy the email address down and when you are away on a trip but you have internet access, you might not be able to access your emails but you can now see all the emails on the website.

Certain new features will be easier for me to do, like videos, pictures, music, etc. You will also have access to all the flyers that are sent to me and this will be found on the left hand side in chronological order. On the bottom of the current email you would see OLDER EMAILS. You can now go back to previous emails by this method versus accessing EMAIL ARCHIVES which will show all the emails.

I need some help regarding who is in charge of the varous activities that I have listed on the left hand side. It might be an old list, so if you have an update, please let me know. New resident would probably like to know who to call to become involved with some activity.

A THANK YOU MESSAGE FROM ALAN PRICE

Regency is great! The road to recovery has been made so much easier thanks to the wonderful friends and neighbors in this great community. Thank you for the many cards, the food, the gifts, and especially the love to all of you who got me through this difficult time.
Sincerely, Allan Price

BE CAREFUL!!

I'm not sure if this traffic light was ever there (Perrineville Rd and 614). Let's say you are coming from Route 33 and you are going down Perrineville Rd. When you hit 614 you make a right into a little area off to the side (across from Stop N Shop). If the light on Perrineville Road is green, that usually means traffic coming from the left on 614 has a red light so you sort of give a quick glance and you make the turn onto 614. There is now a light on that turn (which is a little turned but you can see if it is red). If it's red - STOP, LOOK and then proceed. You must make a FULL STOP.

The same type of light is now on Schoolhouse Road and Perrineville (as you make a right onto Schoolhouse Road). Make a FULL STOP if the light is RED.

YES, Monroe Township's FINEST are there waiting for you not to stop.

THAT'S IT FOR NOW AND AGAIN, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL!
RON
