For those of you who prefer having the telephone list in an Excel file here is the list sorted by street. The original Excel file had problems related to leading characters in the street column. I corrected these problems so the streets are now correct. This is the Excel file:

CONGRATULATIONS TO FRAN & LES LANGER

Les and Fran Langer are thrilled to announce the birth of their 2nd grandchild, Solomon Leo Langer. He was born early Wednesday morning ( 7/11) and weighed in at 6lb 8oz. Solomon and his parents, Jason and Margie, are all doing well. Grandma and Grandpa look forward to the many trips they will be making up to Caldwell.

(Emailer's Note - my very best to the entire family and especially to Solomon Leo. Les already has given Solomon 3 golf lessons with Tiger Woods and that is all Solomon needs to outdrive his grandpa. I have to admit that Les came in 2nd place to of course ME, in Wednesday's closest to the pin tournament at the Meadows. Les, has tried to outdrive me since day 1 of playing golf. The last contest we had was when I was up 9 to 8 going into the last hole at the Meadows. He drove a ball far, but like usual, into the woods. To show you what kind of friend I am, I made sure that I didn't outdrive him so we tied. He now knows that I am having back problems so he wants another chance to show he can outdrive me. Before allowing him to challenge me he must first show that he can outdrive Solomon. All Solomon has to do is too crawl to the tee and knock the ball off and he becomes a winner!

TABLE TENNIS TEAM TAKES THE GOLD IN THE SENIOR CONDO OLYMPICS

Congratulation to the Single Olympics Table Tennis team for winning the gold metal with a perfect score of three matches of three games each match. The players were Bob Cheret, Richard Lam, and Alan Wolff who played last Thursday July 19. The Doubles Olympics Table Tennis team will play next Thursday July 26 at the Monroe Recreation Center at 6:00 p.m. Join us to encourage the team

THE FURIA'S JOIN OUR HOLE IN ONE CLUB

We do have a couple living here at Regency, who both got hole's in one. They are now on my Hole in One list on my blog.

Congratulations to Dan Furia and his wife Sharon on getting holes in one.

I am also adding George Sperling to the list. George got a hole in one but he was playing by himself. After taking my lie detector test (and passing) and speaking to residents who heard George screaming on the golf course, "I got a hole in one", George now is officially a member of the elite club.

RADON - A PROBLEM OR NOT A PROBLEM?

I received an email from a homeowner who does have a basement and has had an elevated Radon level (7 to 8 picocuries - about twice the upper limit). Supposedly, Radon levels in Monroe Township are considered to be in the high range. After big storms with a lot of rain, Radon rises to the surface. So do we have a problem or don't we? If you have had your house tested for Radon, please let me know what the results were. Homes with basements are more likely to run into this problem vs. homes that are built on a slab. Naturally everything will remain confidential but the findings will be sent out in an email.
