I personally don't blame those of you who went to Jefferson HS in not letting me know that you went there. The list of High Schools is growing and I've gotten more responses from Tilden, then any other High School. After all just look at the long list of notables who graduated from Tilden who live in Regency. We are proud to be Tildenites! In fact, let's all sing our school song, "HAIL TILDEN HIGH, WE'LL BE EVER TRUE TO THE GREY AND BLUE, EVER TRUE TO TILDEN HIGH, HIGH, HIGH!" I have selected Maxine Finger to be our Cheerleader and she will be calling a practice very soon. We will also try to have a High School reunion party in the Clubhouse. The only problem - Toll would have to expand the ballroom again because the Tildenites would probably fill 2 rooms. The Jeff graduates will meet on the deck and of course the Tildenites would wish for rain, snow, sleet or hail.
I was able to find the school song for those of you who went to Jeff, so click on the attachment at the bottom. When you listen to it, just remember that the group is singing about Jefferson HS students.

By the way, my emailer colleague is trying to do the same thing over at Encore and we will share our lists. Who knows? Maybe an Encorian went to High School with you. Now, if anyone went to high school with Allan Ellis, that would be like finding a needle in a haystack. We do have 2 Battan HS graduates but Allan, Regency would have to be at full occupancy and we probably still wouldn't have anyone matching your high school.
If the emailer finds out that you live in Regency and you went to Tilden and you didn't submit your information - you will be written up as a Jeffersonian conspirator. Al Maltzman is starting a campaign to get residents who went to Jefferson signed up. He also CLAIMS that Jeff beat Tilden on Thanksgiving Day in football all but one time. My records clearly show the following:

1. The person putting the records on the Internet was a frustrated Jeffersonian who falsified the records.
2. Unfortunately, Al's records go back to when Thomas Jefferson was still alive. Al, we must deal with the 50's, 60's and 70's and not the 1850's, 60's and 70's.
3. The proof is in the trophy. I was able to find one of many trophies that Tilden won by beating Jeff in football on Thanksgiving Day. Jeff and Tilden trophies are shown on the left side of this blog
and on the left side you will see Tilden's trophy and I was able to also post a picture of Jeff's Trophy that they believe was for beating Tilden at football.
PROPER PROTOCOL FOR DISPLAYING THE MENORAH AND THE AMERICAN FLAG
Can you apprise our Jewish neighbors that the electric menorah Chanukah lights when observed from the outside should be lit from right to left; inside the house they will appear lit left to right.
Right to left is correct.

In addition, American Flag protocol is not being observed. During the evening, unless the flag is lit up, it should be taken down and put back up in the morning.

I would like to extend my thank you's to all of the residents who provided me with the names of residents to contact when they are looking to join various games, activities and/or clubs. Mailboxes are warranted by the manufacturer, not Toll, for one year. Please call the Warranty Office @ 732 446 8430 if you have a problem the first year.
Toll recommends using the following for paint touch ups:
KRYLON # 1501 Glossy White Spray. It should be available in local paint or hardware stores.
If mailboxes need replacement, after one year, the cost is around $310; please call the HOA for ordering details.

GARAGE DOORS MYSTERIOUSLY OPENING
The total is up to about 8-10 homes within the community that have mysteriously had their garage doors opening. One resident's friend "popped" out of bed early one morning when he heard the garage door opening and he just heard and saw a very low flying plane. Low flying planes can cause garage doors to open if they are on the same frequency as your garage doors. Of course we can't do much about that. However, my suggestions in my last email should help so some degree, so if you are bothered by garage doors opening by themselves, check out what I wrote.
