IF YOU ARE NOT ON MY LIST OF BIRTHDAY'S AND ANNIVERSARY'S JUST SEND ME THE DATES. HOPEFULLY, IF SOME OF THE GUYS READ MY EMAILS THEY WILL SEE THEIR ANNIVERSARY OR SPOUSE'S BIRTHDAY AND REMEMBER TO BUY A CARD AND PRESENT. I'M ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT HOW I CAN HELP THE MEN OF REGENCY. LADIES, YOU ALWAYS HAVE IT UNDER CONTROL. IN FACT, WHEN GRETA GIVES ME A PRESENT, I USUALLY SAY, "WHAT'S THIS FOR". SHE OF COURSE REMINDS ME THAT IT IS EITHER MY BIRTHDAY OR OUR ANNIVERSARY. I TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT BY JUST TELLING HER TO ORDER SOMETHING SPECIAL FROM QVC FOR WHEN IT'S HER BIRTHDAY AND OUR ANNIVERSARY.

REGENCY's OWN MARTY (HOLE IN ONE) KORNFELD MAKES IT INTO THE STAR LEDGER

The Star Ledger sold 1000 additional copies of their newspaper dated Monday, July 30, 2007. Why? Well click on this link and you will see why.

No, Marty didn't buy 1000 copies - I DID! Now you ask yourselves why would Ron buy 1000 copies? If you click on this link you will understand why I did it.

Even though I own 100 copies of the Cincinatti Enquirer's Collector's Edition newspaper of when Pete Rose singled to pass Ty Cobb's all time total hits, I personally think I could sell more of the Star Ledger with Marty in it because Roz told me she would buy at least 100 copies for all of her relatives. The rest of course I will put on my EBAY auctions or I will stand in front of the clubhouse yelling "here yee, here yee, read all about it - local guy gets hole in one".

WOW! THIS PROVES HOW GREAT WE ARE AT REGENCY PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHO YOU ARE SO I COULD ALSO SAY THANKS

On Monday morning I looked everywhere for my gold and diamond necklace. After about two hours of searching my home, I called the clubhouse to find out if, by chance, I lost it in the clubhouse. I described the necklace to Jennifer, and she told me that on Saturday night someone brought it to lost and found.

I want to thank the person that turned in the necklace. The diamond was from my late mother's engagement ring. Needless to say, it means a great deal to me.

Please let me know who turned in the necklace, so I can personally thank you. We live in a wonderful community where there are good people like you.

MUSIC FILES ON THE EMAILER BLOG
http://regencyemailer2.blogspot.com/

I am now beginning to add songs using QuickTime. Many of you have this on your computers since some computers come with it automatically. QuickTime is a little slower then Real Player but I'm now using ZOOMSHARE to store some of my personal MP3's.

When you see a big Q and then a bar straight across the middle of the page, this is QuickTime. If you want to stop playing the song use the back arrow to go back to my BLOG if you want to play another song.

A LITTLE DANCING FROM FRED ASTAIRE AND ELEANOR POWELL

Gail, our Lifestyle Director sent me the following:

This is unbelievable!!!

FRED ASTAIRE & ELEANOR POWELL

Turn you speakers up. This is great! Truly amazing!
This is wonderful. A couple of things to note:

1. The dancers are Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell.
2. The year: 1940.
3. The narrator's voice is Frank Sinatra.
4. It was filmed in one unedited camera shot.

This is considered by many to be among the best dance
scenes ever filmed

BOB (MR SANDMAN) ISAACS IS NUMBER 1

Bob, I always keep a promise. I promised Bob that if he gets out of the sand trap I will let everyone know. You see, Bob has been nicknamed "Mr. Sandman" because his golf ball has a GPS embedded into it that automatically takes his ball and lands it in a sand trap. I've played many times with Bob and I will vouch that if the course has 18 sand traps Bob will be in all 18. In fact, someone noticed that he has packed a shovel and pail into his golf bag. He and Les Langer love playing in the sand together.

So why am I writing about Bob getting into the sand trap this time? Well, he hit a shot and the ball was embedded in the slope of the sand "wall" with the green above it so in order to hit out of this position he would have to hit straight above his head and pray that it doesn't land on his Torrey Pines cap. And by the way, the ball was 3/4 buried in the wall of the sand trap.

Bob takes a mighty swing and sure enough he got out of the sand. The lesson here is if you want to learn a lot about playing (golf or mud pies) in a sand trap, Bob is the man! Instead of a patio in his backyard Bob built a huge sand trap and his grand kids love it and so does Bob.

THAT'S IT FOR NOW
RON
