COUPLES BOWLING
SUNDAY, JULY 1ST
7:15 PM - ROUTE 34 BOWLING ALLEY

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BOWLING CONTACT ALLAN ELLIS, JERRY BUREN OR LEN ROSEN. PRACTICE AT 7:15 AND BOWLING STARTS AT 7:30.

SOME COUPLES GET TOGETHER FOR DINNER AT THE DINER ACROSS THE STREET PRIOR TO BOWLING.

BE CAREFUL

WHEN ENTERING REGENCY AFTER COMING FROM ENGLISHTOWN, DON'T RIDE THE SHOULDER (YOU WILL PASS A SOLID WHITE LINE WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW). YOU MAY TURN WHEN BEGIN YOUR TURN WHEN THE SOLID WHITE LINE STARTS CURVING TO THE RIGHT. RESIDENTS HAVE GOTTEN TICKETS.

ALSO, DON'T PASS A CAR ON THE RIGHT OR LEFT BY GOING INTO THE SHOULDER AREA. THAT TOO IS A TICKET.

DID YOU KNOW THAT HAVING YOUR CAR DEALERS LICENSE PLATE FRAME AROUND YOUR LICENSE PLATE CAN GIVE YOU A TICKET? THE ANSWER IS YES, THEY CAN GIVE YOU A TICKET FOR THIS AND A RESIDENT HAS GOTTEN ONE. THE FUNNY PART IS THAT THE RESIDENT WILL BE GOING TO THE CAR DEALER TO ASK THE DEALER TO PAY FOR THE TICKET SINCE THE DEALER SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THIS IS ILLEGAL.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LINDA AND MARTY KAMINS (AND ADAM)

Linda and Marty Kamins are pleased to announce that their son, Adam, has just graduated from the University of Chicago with high honors from the MBA Program. He accepted a position with Oracle Corporation and will be moving to Boston Massachusetts this summer.

PURCHASING COMMITTEE

THE COMMITTEE IS UP AND RUNNING AND WILL HOLD IT'S FIRST MEETING VERY SOON. THERE WILL BE 9 MEMBERS AND I HAVE ASKED GOODY (MR. DRIVEWWAY MAN) MOLLEN, TO CHAIR THE COMMITTEE. OUR FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION TO ANSWER IS LIABILITY. NATURALLY ALL MEMBERS DON'T WANT TO BE SUED FOR ANY LIABILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE PURCHASING OF GOODS OR SERVICES. WE WILL KEEP THE COMMUNITY INFORMED OF OUR PROGRESS.

MONROE TOWNSHIP TENNIS CENTER PETITION

A committee from several adult communities met with the Monroe Township Director of Recreation and his staff to develop a tennis complex with 6+ indoor courts and 8+ outdoor courts.

The complex would allow tennis play during the day or evening, in an air condition, all weather environments, and on Har-True (soft-spring) surfaces courts.

This complex would benefit all residents’ young and old (by extending tennis life) in a self supporting complex. This complex could include indoor/outside shuffle-board, bocce courts, and also exercise facilities, and others that would add to the Monroe Township prestige which should help to continue raising our property values.

The recreation staff was very favorable to the project and suggested a petition be sent to the Monroe Township mayor to show the interest in the project.

INSTRUCTIONS: Please type your name and spouse name and addresses with approval and forward the petition to: dennisschmidt@att.net
