WHO ARE THE ROMEO'S OF REGENCY?

Many years ago I started a "CLUB" of a group of MEN ONLY that ate out lunch on Tuesday's We named it THE ROMEO CLUB (RETIRED OLD MEN EATING OUT). Rich Lans has taken over running it since I have found that Tuesday's conflicts with some of the things I do.

So, if you are new to Regency (Men Only) and you would like to meet other guys at lunch, we meet in front of the Clubhouse at 11:45 AM EVERY TUESDAY. If you are their at 11:46 AM, the guys are already on the road to the restaurant. On my BLOG (left side) you will find a schedule of which restaurants we go to on a particular Tuesday. If you want you can meet us at the restaurant but just give Rich a call so that he could set a spot for you.

Again, click on my blog link below to see the ROMEO schedule and while you are at it, click on my music jukebox to play some of the songs that goes back to when songs were songs.

TRUDY LENCI - YOU'RE THE BEST

Those of us who attended the Memorial Day Party at the Clubhouse certainly had a wonderful time. The food, the DJ playing all of Ron's favorite songs, certainly made the evening a true delight.

Making the evening even better was the altruism displayed by one of our residents - TRUDY LENCI. It all happened like this. We were sitting at table 11 and our number hadn't been called for quite awhile. They were picking out of a hat which tables would go for the food. Naturally as everyone was passing our table, the smell of frankfurters, hamburgers, chicken, ribs just overcame me. I was yelling, "HELP, I NEED A BURGER", everyone passed me by except TRUDY LENCI, who immediately took from her plate her hamburger and gave me a "BURGER INFUSION". Naturally the guys sitting at my table all pretended that they were in the same shape as I was in, so I shared my burger with them. If that wasn't enough TRUDY (OFFICIALLY KNOWN AS MS. REGENCY), came to my table when dessert was available and gave me her watermelon. Tears rolled down my face thinking how wonderful this person is. I could see why Mario always walks around with a smile. Okay Ron, enough said about why Mario walks around with a smile.

Naturally I would never mention who walked past my table with a plate of hamburgers, franks, chicken, ribs all smothered in about 2 lbs. of baked beans, but suffice it to say that his brother Bill, who was sitting at my table was as surprised as me. Of course you know that I am just joking - it was really about 3 lbs of beans that were on his plate.

So if anyone sees Trudy Lenci, just thank her for taking care of the EMAILER!

CHECK OUT YOUR CONDENSATION LINES

On a very hot day when your air-conditioner(s) are working, take a walk around your home and make sure water is coming out of the condensation pipes. If you have a loft you have additional pipe(s) coming out of your home. If there is no water coming out - your condensation line might be clogged and you would need to have it unclogged since it could back up into your home and cause some water damage.

A MESSAGE FROM THE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

Dear Shutterbugs:

The next meeting of the digital Photography Club will be on Thursday, June 7, from 4PM to 6PM, in the Clubhouse Ballroom.

We're happy to announce that we will have, as our guest speaker, Ms. Roz Rosenblum of Rutgers University. Her presentation will be on the "Art of Seeing". The topic will discuss how to improve your photography and how to tell your story with impact and drama. Learn how to “read a picture” and steer the viewer’s eye… using leading lines, balance, and rhythm, and understanding the psychology of color. With these tools, you can learn how to evaluate your own images.

This presentation is perfect for newcomers to photography and is also a wonderful review of all the basics which veteran photographers often forget. The cost for this Workshop will be free for paid members. Non-members will be charged $5 at the door.

Since we expect a large turnout for this meeting, please email Ed Bickel (fotobick86@verizon.net) with your intentions to attend.

THAT'S IT FOR NOW
RON
