PICTURES FROM REGENCY'S FIRST SHOW
IF THEY COULD SEE ME NOW

A NOTE OF THANKS FROM A RESIDENT

First I would like to congratulate Charlie Lerman and Stephanie for a great job in making the ordering of Comcast services, orderly, quick & very easy. It was well planned out & Comcast did their part in having enough people to review our options & to help us order what we needed. Too bad when we have buffets it never works this smoothly & orderly.

Secondly & most importantly, Kieve Kortmansky did an unbelievable job in getting Verizon to open their internet services to our community. I do not know how he accomplished this in a very short period of time, but he did.

Carol deserves the credit for allowing Kieve all the time he needs to fight along with Norman Spector and now Charlie Lerman for our community. Thank you Carol !

In butting heads with Kieve & the board during the past 3 years, I found in reality Kieve & I were fighting for the same things, the betterment of our community & all it's Residents, but in different ways. I have gained a tremendous amount of respect for Kieve. Thank you for doing what you do, and yes it feels good to be on the same team.

Mark Klein
(EMAILER'S NOTE: MARK'S EMAIL SPEAKS FOR MANY OF US WHO FEEL THE SAME WAY. A JOB WELL DONE BY OUR HOA BOARD REPRESENTATIVES - I EVEN SWITCHED FROM DIRECT TV TO COMCAST AND I WILL BE GETTING A LOT MORE FOR LESS MONEY)

A THANK YOU FROM FRANK BRUNO

I WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND MY SINCERE THANK YOU TO THE COMMUNITY FOR THE CARING AND KINDNESS EXTENDED TO ANGELA AND MYSELF WHILE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL. IT APPEARS THE SURGERY WAS A COMPLETE SUCCESS. WE RECEIVED SO MANY GET WELL CARDS AND TELEPHONE CALLS FROM RESIDENTS EXPRESSING THEIR CONCERN AND BEST WISHES FOR WHICH WE THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. WE CONSIDER OURSELVES VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE SELECTED REGENCY AS OUR RETIREMENT HOME. WHAT MAKES THIS COMMUNITY SO UNIQUE IS THE FIRST CLASS RESIDENTS,
FRANK

A MESSAGE FROM JOHN KEANE REGARDING THE TAX APPEAL MEETING

These are the forms that were distributed at the tax meeting. A couple have changed to clarify information or to add the address of the law firm for those residents who want to send the forms directly. The information on the forms is self explanatory. But, if anyone at Regency needs assistance, Jerry, Goodie, and myself will be at the clubhouse on Monday afternoon from 1 to 3pm. We will bring extra forms.

WOMEN'S GOLF LEAGUE

Forms/flyers for the 2007 golf Ladies' Golf League are now available in the clubhouse.

OUR MAIL - WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IF YOU RECEIVE SOMEONE ELSE'S MAIL

I know this is true since it has happened many times to me. I receive someone else's mail and some else receives my mail. It seems like it is happening again with other Regency residents. When this happens, do your neighbor a favor, just put their mail in their mailbox rather than leaving it in your mailbox for the mailman to possibly pick up, bring back to the post office and maybe redeliver it. Our postal carrier knows that sometimes this is a problem because some mail can be sticking to other mail

SWIMMERS WANTED!

Art Cooper is now in the process of trying to form a swim team for the Senior Olympics being held this summer. The swimming event is scheduled for Saturday July 7, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in the indoor pool at Whittingham. This is one event Regency has not participated in during the past Olympics. We want to change this.

There are three swimming events. We can enter one, two, or three. Each event is a four person relay with each person swimming one lap of the pool. The events are the crawl, back stroke and breast stroke. The teams can be co-ed.

If you are a swimmer and would like to compete please call Art at (732)521-0058 or email him at artathome13@aol.com.

Must reserve a spot with a check, spaces go quickly.

The fishing club meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the clubhouse library.

Reservations call Howard Beeferman @732-656-4525
Any questions call Mark Klein @ 732-521-8333

(I have a question - Is it true that when Mark went out for White Fish he "pulled in" a fish that he claims he caught but the fish had already been smoked. In fact, he forgot to take the price tag from Stop N Shop off the fish. The next question concerns the weight of the fish. Howard pulled in a 6 inch fish that weighed 10 lbs. Is this possible? According to one fisherman on the boat, he thought he saw Howard shoving buckshot into the mouth of this little fish. What a way, or is it weigh, to win a contest.)

THAT'S IT FOR NOW
