MERCER COUNTY SYMPHONIC BAND'S NEXT CONCERT

The next concert of the Mercer County Symphonic Band is on Wednesday, Dec.20 at 8PM. It is at the Kelsey Theater which is on the campus of Mercer County Community College. The college is on Old Trenton Road. Take 130 to Old Trenton Road, Right turn ,continue on for about 6 or 7 miles, Enter college, make right turn and follow road to Kelsey theater (THE CONCERT IS FREE)

THE EMAILER NEEDS HELP!
Is this possible? The emailer needs help? Yes, I welcome your assistance. You see, right now to accommodate residents who use AOL email addresses I have opened up two email accounts - HOTMAIL and YAHOO.
I use a very antiquated program for emails called Eudora. As antiquated as it is, it provides many features that you don't find in those "free" email programs. For example, and this is where I need your help, if I copy and paste, I have an option to do a paste "special" which allows me to paste files like JPEG and PDF directly into my email vs. pasting it as an attachment.
So my question to those of you who use HOTMAIL or YAHOO as your email provider, is there a way of pasting a file, whether JPEG or PDF directly into the email (I can attach it to the email but I am not sure how to put it directly into the email). Thanks for your help.
I have found that copying my Eudora email into either YAHOO or HOTMAIL, everything copies except the "paste special" which is a JPEG or a PDF file.
AOL RESIDENTS
I am almost done adding all AOL residents to my email boxes in HOTMAIL and YAHOO. Except for the problem stated above everything is working out better than expected. Instead of sending out a maximum of 15 AOL emails at one time, I can now send out about 60 so I will be reducing down the number of emails sent out each time. I wonder what I can do with all this extra spare time I will have on my hands?
In the meantime, you should continue to look at my BLOG (http://regencyemailer2.blogspot.com/) to see if you have received all of my emails. From my MONMOUTH.COM account, emails are still coming back to me as being undeliverable to AOL residents. I have about 60 more names to convert over to YAHOO and HOTMAIL.
MEN'S POKER GAMES
Well I guess I now have another job. A new resident moved in and was trying to find a poker game to join. Unfortunately he wasn't able to join any existing games and not knowing anyone, he couldn't start a game. Our Monday night game agreed to add him to our game. On Wednesday where we have 12 players, 3 are "snowbirds" so 1 additional player has been added as a regular and when the snowbirds come back (we welcome them back to our game), we just rotate players in and out of the game based upon a schedule.
With the winter season upon us and the "snowbirds" flying south, many of the Poker games would be in need of players. So here is what I am suggesting. Each game should have a "Captain". Each week if you need a player or have an extra player, just contact me (email would be best) and let me know if you need someone or have an extra person. Our game is flexible enough that if we don't have enough players on Wednesday we would play on Thursday if we can get enough players to play. Hopefully, if your games are flexible like ours, we should have enough players for ALL of our games.
Now for NEW residents, my welcoming email to Regency's email system will have a note in it regarding POKER. However, in speaking with this new resident and his wife, I realized that NEW residents are left out in the "cold" when it comes to joining or making their own types of games like Mah Jongg, Canasta, Bridge, etc. They don't even know who to contact if they want to play Bocce, Shuffleboard, Bowling, etc.
In trying to help new residents I will post on the BLOG http://regencyemailer2.blogspot.com/ a SIDEBAR (what you see on the left side of the BLOG, that would show the various activities and the person to contact, like Herb Cohen - Bowling; Al Maltzman Shuffleboard and Basketball (Foul Shooting), etc. I am not sure who is the responsible individuals for various activities, for example, Bridge, Water Volleyball, Regency Reporter, etc where new residents can get involved. With all the "stuff" going on here I am not sure if I even know all that goes on. So send me any info. about your games or activities.
I will have the names of those NEW and maybe "OLD" residents who are looking to join a game. You can ask me to post your name for the type of game you want to join and others will then see it and hopefully ask you to join.
Again, if you need or want someone to join your activity or game, just let me know your activity and/or game and I will post it on the BLOG. In the meantime please give me the contact person who is missing from the following list (highlighted in blue):

Mystery Book
Someone left a rather old and used coffee table book, "The irish Uprising - 1916-1922," in my mailbox yesterday (10 Monterey). There was no note and I have no idea who the book belongs to. I'm sure it was not meant for us and was left there by mistake. JURY DUTY SCAM:
This has been verified on Snopes.com (link listed below) and by the FBI (their link is also included below).
Please pass this on to everyone in your email address book. It is spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call. Most of us take those summons for jury duty seriously, but enough people skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind of scam has surfaced.
Fall for it and your identity could be stolen, reports CBS. In this con, someone calls pretending to be a court official who threateningly says a warrant has been issued for your arrest because you didn't show up for jury duty. The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Give out any of this information and bingo! Yo! ur identity just got stolen.
The scam has been reported so far in 11 states, including Oklahoma, Illinois, and Colorado. This (scam) is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully people into giving information by pretending they're with the court system. The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.

On the Monday before Thanksgiving my brother, Martin Himmel, was in a fatal automobile accident in Ohio, where he lived. My family and I are devastated and still reeling from the shock of it.
Once again I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of sympathy I received from my wonderful neighbors at Regency. My gratitude to you all for your cards, donations, phonecalls, emails and support during shiva. Our community has been like an extended family and I am grateful to be living here.
