MERCER COUNTY SYMPHONIC BAND
A SHOW THAT WILL BE REMEMBERED!

If you were one of the few that missed tonight's performance of the Mercer County Symphonic Band, boy did you miss the show of the century! I love band music but this band was FABULOUS! A new first for Regency happened tonight - 100%, of what I think was 300+ residents in the audience, all agreed that this performance was as good as it can get.

Wow! The selection of songs had Regency residents singing, stomping, clapping and totally mesmerized. The conductor elevated conducting to a new level. His commentary between songs was a show in itself.

Now for the best part, two of our residents, Mario Lenci and Bernie Ghee are part of the band and we certainly appreciated all of their hard work and the work of all the band members. They spend two nights each week just practicing and boy, "practice makes perfect". You guys were just great.

I played golf with Mario this morning and Mario, my suggestion, give up golf because you scored 18 holes in one as a band member.

Naturally, I would be remiss in not thanking the Men's Club, Rich Lans and all of the Men's Club volunteers who helped put this great performance together. Keep up the good work and let's see if we could have them come back at some future date.

ROMEO'S LUNCHEON CHANGED FOR NEXT TUESDAY
ALBIVI ITALIAN RESTAURANT
11:40 AM MEET AT CLUBHOUSE

Next week instead of going to People's Pizza, the ROMEO's will be headed for a new restaurant that we want to try out. It will be ALBIVI on Perrineville Road (just cross over 33 and stay on Perrineville). We will meet at the same time 11:40 AM in front of the Clubhouse and since this is a new restaurant we will WAIT for others to join us and we will do some carpooling.

Since this is a new restaurant that has received many accolades, give Rich Lans a call or myself, Ron Post to let us know if you will be going. We would like for them to set up enough tables and be prepared for a large group.

MANY THANKS TO OUR TWO HOA BOARD MEMBERS AND STEPHANIE

I wish to thank both of our HOA Resident Board members, Kieve Kortmansky and Charlie Lerman as well as Stephanie for developing a form that will be used in signing up new homeowners (voluntary) to emailing. I felt that something like this should be done since over 90+% of the community is already on the emailing system. By just word of mouth, emailing has grown and there are times that some new residents might not know about it until someone tells them. So this will now be the way for new residents to join the email system immediately. I hope that they don't have AOL addresses but the HOTMAIL account I opened seems to be working.

BERNIE & ELAINE SCHWARTZ'S TRIP TO ISRAEL WITH THE JEWISH CONGREGATION OF CONCORDIA

Bernie and Elaine Schwartz just returned from a trip they took along with a group of members from the Jewish Congregation at Concordia. Twenty one (21) suitcases were packed by the members with toys and stuffed animals that were given out to children in an Israeli hospital. Along with the suitcases over $30,000 was donated. The Israeli Press (called POST), wrote about their trip and the kindness of all the money and toys that were donated. Bernie and Elaine, you are the best!

Bernie took many nice pictures and if you want to see them please click on

Fishing Club Update

Well, it is almost the end of the fishing season. In 2006 the Fishing Club held eight Saltwater Charter fishing trips aboard the Eagle sailing out of Atlantic Highlands, NJ. Plus an additional two trips on party boats. We hope to have one more trip the last week of December sailing out of Point Pleasant, NJ aboard the Dauntless. The date will be based on the weather, so check the Regency e-mails from Ron Post.

The results of the last few trips are as follows:

July 3 aboard the Eagle with 16 aboard. Alan Garelick won the
pool with a 5lb. Fluke.

July 30 aboard the Eagle with 14 aboard. Lee Hamer the son of
Rudy Hamer won the pool with a 31/2lb Fluke.

Aug 14 aboard the Eagle with 14 aboard. Maurice Michaelson
won the pool with a 10lb Bluefish.

Sept 18 aboard the Eagle with 14 aboard Howard Beeferman
one the pool with a 15lb. Stripedbass.

Oct 9 aboard the Eagle with 16 aboard. Mark Klein shared the
pool with Les ___ with a 12lb. Sripedbass.

Nov 9 aboard the party boat Jamaica II, sailing out of Breille,
NJ with 8 Regency members aboard. Mark Klein
Missed the pool by an ounce, with a 6lb Blackfish.
(THE TRUTH IS THAT MARK REALLY MISSED IT BY ABOUT A POUND SINCE HE WAS SEEN STUFFING ALL KINDS OF HEAVY OBJECTS DOWN THE MOUTH OF THE BLACKFISH - JUST JOKING)
Trips will start next April depending on the weather & fishery. Come join us all are welcome.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ARLENE AND MARK FRADKIN

A new grandchild for Arlene and Mark Fradkin, their 8th, on Thursday, November 16th. Eric Alexander Fradkin (9' 2"). Happy parents are Karen and Geoffrey Fradkin.
(This message was sent to me by Mark but I think Eric weighed 9 lbs 2 oz. If he was 9 feet 2 inches, sign him up for the NY Knicks and Karen, you just set a new world record. Our very best to the Fradkin's and to Eric Alexander and his parents)

THAT'S IT FOR NOW
