NEW REGENCY PHOTOS HAVE BEEN ADDED TO MY BLOG (LEFT SIDE)

Check out my slideshow on the left hand side of my BLOG. About 100 new photos of Regency have been added. Not only will you see some of the usual pictures but I am now adding some of your family including pets. If you have photos you want to add, either send it to me as an attachment of you can drop it off in my mailbox (I'll return it) and I will scan and add them. If you have grandchildren, give me their names and pictures. I have also added some pictures of Regency residents when they were just "kids". Send me those also.

I have to apologize to some residents. Some of you sent me pictures to upload and about a month ago, I was getting rid of some files and I accidently removed the file where I was storing your photos. So if you don't see the picture you sent me please send it again. I promise it will be uploaded immediately. I changed the way I handle the slide show so it is now very easy to upload one or more photos at a time.

By the way, you all look FANTASTIC. The picture of MO Adler and the fish he caught was like looking at twins (and yes, my twins have now been added to my BLOG + my other two gorgeous grandchildren. Naturally my good friend Allan Ellis (the man who fined me $1 in college because I was talking - what else is new - a nice picture of Allan and his grandson Blake is now on my BLOG. By the way, I made a deal with Blake. Each time Allan is alone with Blake I give Blake $5 if he would dirty his diaper. Allan is still trying to figure out why Blake dirty's his diaper more often with him then Sandi. Of course there is a picture of Howie Mednick as a blonde. My heart flutters everytime I look at that picture. Ted Shuster is in his uniform, very impressive!! Where are all of those uniform pictures - it's time to add them to the BLOG.

PROBLEMS OPENING MY LINKS ON ADRIVE
(PERSONAL THANKS TO MARTY FELDMAN FOR FINDING THE ANSWER)

I wish to say thanks to Marty Feldman for "officially" finding out the answer why some residents are having problems opening my links that are stored on ADRIVE. Hopefully the following answer, which Marty sent me, will now have everyone on-board with being able to open links.

This has to do with how your browser is handling cookies. We recommend the following:1. Clear your browser's cache completely.2. Check privacy settings in your browser's options to make sure it is accepting cookies (set IE to no higher than medium high).3. Stop the Information bar from blocking file and software downloads in IE.Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options. Click the Security tab, and then click Custom level. Do one or both of the following: To turn off the Information bar for file downloads, scroll to the Downloads section of the list, and then, under Automatic prompting for file downloads, click Enable. To turn off the Information bar for ActiveX controls, scroll to the ActiveX controls and plug-ins section of the list, and then, under Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls, click Enable. Click OK, click Yes to confirm that you want to make the change, and then click OK again. Please let us know if you need anything further. Thanks,-ADrive Support TeamClick here for the ADrive FAQ- http://www.adrive.com/info/faq

I might add that you should frequently go to Internet Explorer, Options and delete temporary files and cache which would dramatically slow down your computer system. Most people don't do this even once - I do it every month to make my computer run a little faster.

MEN'S GOLF AT THE MEADOWS - WEDNESDAY'S

Currently we have 54 Regulars for our 13 tee times. This is 2 more players then the total tee times we have. I have done the scheduling for 6 years and we never have all the players playing at once, so 2 more players will give me a little more flexibility in scheduling. If your name isn't on the list below, please let me know.

I will be calling a meeting of the Regulars about a week or two before the season begins in April. Jerry Scott, our "Director" of Tournaments will have an announcement to make concerning how we can speed up the game. I think he has a great suggestion and not only this but you can leave the golf course shooting at least 5 strokes or better. Each week we will have a tournament.

NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART - IF YOU HAVEN'T PAID JERRY STOLLAR THE $30 AS YET, PLEASE DO SO. IF YOU ARE IN FLORIDA, PLEASE MAIL HIM A CHECK. IF IT ISN'T IN BY THE END OF MARCH, YOU WILL NOT BE SCHEDULED TO PLAY FOR THE FIRST FOUR WEEKS (MY FIRST SCHEDULE WILL BE FOR THE FIRST FOUR WEEKS)

ALSO, PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE MEADOWS BEFORE YOU START PLAYING AND NOT ON THE DAY YOU ARE SCHEDULED TO START.

THANKS

ROMEOS FOR TUESDAY APRIL 1ST
BY POPULAR DEMAND "HAROLDS"

YES HAROLDS IT IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE
WE WILL MEET AT THE CLUB HOUSE AT 11:30
REMEMBER SHARING ONLY

A RESIDENT SENT THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE REGARDING A COMPUTER VIRUS (I WENT TO SNOPES AND IT IS REAL)

(Emailer's Note: Rich, thanks for giving us ample time to purge our digestive system so that we could be ready to "blow up" at Harold's. Harold's makes an Emailer Special - fried (yes fried) kreplach with well done but deep fried onions - yummy, yummy in the tummy, tummy!). This will definitely be a 2 Zocor (cholesterol lowering pill) day.

We checked with Norton Anti-Virus and they are gearing up for this virus!

I checked snopes.com, and it is for real
http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/postcard.asp

You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD,' regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer. This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. This is the reason why you need to send this e-mail to all your contacts. It is better to receive this message 25 times
than to receive the virus and open it.

If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it.!

This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday,
and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.

FOUND - ONE PATIO COVER

After last night's wind we found a patio table cover wrapped around our tree in the front. If someone looks for it let them know we have it.

Jim Melhorn

(Emailer's Note - I personally lost 10 rectangular pieces of paper, each looking green with the words FIFTY DOLLARS on it. It has a very sentimental value for me so if you find them, keep one as a reward and please return the other 9)

THAT'S IT FOR NOW
