OUR SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO LINDAY LITSKY

i know I speak for the community in passing on our sincere condolences to Linda Litsky on the passing of her brother. She will be sitting shiva at 4 Crenshaw Tuesday & Wednesday 11/28 & 11/29 at her home.

IF YOU HAVE THE ANSWER SEND IT TO BOTH ALAN AND THE EMAILER

Hope you can help me by sending this out to the Community to see if anyone else is experiencing the same kind of intermittent problems I'm having with my garage door.

First, the Home Link buttons on my cars don't always open the door. Second, the wireless keypad acts the same way. Third, the hand-held openers provided at the time of purchase don't always open the door.

And, there are times when I can't get a signal on my cell phone if I'm standing outside the garage door, but have no problems inside my home. I should also add that the garage door opens and closes fine from inside the garage.

I had the Home Link system checked out at my dealer, I spoke with Liftmaster, the manufacturer of the garage door, and also spoke with Home Link. Even the hand-held opener, with a new battery, doesn't always open the door.

I had Home Link go through the programming with me again and am still having the same problem. Both Liftmaster and Home Link told me that there must be something outside the home causing interference. even though it's intermittent.

More importantly, the homes to my immediate left and right are having the same problems.

If anyone has had, or is currently experiencing the same problem, I'd like them to contact me at (732) 605-1727 or by email (DodgerCollector@AdvvancedBroadband.com.

Thanks,
Alan

AUDIO BLOGGING AND TEXT TO SPEECH

Don't worry, you will still be able to read my emails vs. listening to the emailer in what is called AUDIO BLOGGING. On my BLOG you will find GABCAST CLICK TO PLAY. Click it with your mouse and on the next page you will see PLAY. Click PLAY and you will get a message from the EMAILER. Modern Technology - isn't it great!

So what applications could be done by AUDIO BLOGGING. It has been proven that individuals would listen to something vs. read something. That's why Audio books are now becoming popular. I will (and you will, because I will show you what to do), can send out audio messages that are of importance.

In my last email, I used what is called TEXT to SPEECH software. It reads every word and it translates it into audio. It sounds robotic but it can become very beneficial in doing my emails.

I want to again thank everyone for your kind words regarding the BLOG (http://regencyemailer2.blogspot.com/). The scrolling pictures will be included on each of the email blogs. Who knows, one day you might see someone you know or maybe it will be you. Your comments of having the FLYERS put into chronological order, this was an easy one. Now you can see which event is the next event that you can attend or is coming up. You can send your flyers to Stephanie or Gail that you want posted on an email as well as on the BLOG. If you want, you can send me a copy.

Another enhancement of emailing will be in having you see flyers directly in my emails vs attachments. We all know that attachments can fill up your email boxes very easily and I have been trying to avoid attaching flyers and other things to my emails. So, utilizing PDF compression software I am now able to take a flyer and reduce it down to about 500 kb which is nothing compared to 2-3 MB. It's amazing that it would still be readable but it is. Here is an example.

THAT'S IT FOR NOW

P.S. I HAD A LITTLE PROBLEM WITH MY MAIN SURGE PROTECTOR SO IF YOU SENT ME SOMETHING I WAS SUPPOSED TO SEND OUT AND YOU DON'T SEE IT IN THIS EMAIL, PLEASE SEND IT TO ME AGAIN. THIS EMAIL WAS "DESTROYED" AND I HAD TO REMEMBER WHAT I THOUGHT IT CONTAINED. I HOPE I GOT EVERYTHING.
